Managed Services
Hosted Operator ServicesStandard core network operations and value-added services including voice and data, voicemail, SMS / MMS, roaming, prepaid, least-cost long distance, E911 and CALEA are managed on a centralized all-IP core. Tecore manages and maintains the required infrastructure, features, gateways and interconnection agreements.
Hosted Application ServicesCommercial or government clients can implement specialized mobile applications as managed services instead of being responsible for on-site operation. A prime example of this type of application is the Intelligent Network Access Controller (iNAC), which enables organizations to manage access to commercial networks for devices within a defined area.
Design-to-DeploymentBased on a complete range of professional services, Tecore can provide analysis, site surveys, infrastructure selection and procurement, installation and commissioning, and device testing and integration, driven by the company’s ISO 9001:2008 quality management system.
Network AssuranceStarting with 7 x 24 x 365 monitoring and trouble-shooting, progressing to capacity optimization, and ultimately addressing technology evolution to the next generation, Tecore’s centralized and multi-technology approach can ensure that clients’ networks are anticipating and meeting customer requirements.
Adapting to Market RealitiesIf one were to look at the process cycle performed in the deployment and operation of a network, managed services exist whenever one or more functions are outsourced to an external provider.
Managed services allow the operator to maintain focus on serving the end customer. As infrastructure becomes increasingly standards-based and uses IP as the backbone, and as markets become saturated, interfaces with the customer take priority over those with the network. New entrants, who often have more expertise in their specific markets than in technology, seek external expertise to design and deploy the network, and then find they need ongoing support to maintain it. Government agencies — such as prisons who are increasingly seeking to manage access of mobile devices in their facilities — often do not have the requisite technology experience to deploy and support the necessary systems. Tecore manages multi-site networks globally for commercial and government clients. Network types can range from complete networks supporting paying subscribers, to specialized networks such as the Intelligent Network Access Controller (iNAC). Technologies
ISO 9000 at Tecore NetworksISO 9000 is the International Organization for Standardization’s family of standards for Quality Management Systems. The standards are intended to enhance customer satisfaction through assurance of conformity to customer and regulatory requirements, and demonstrated consistency in an organization’s ability to provide products and services. Tecore has developed and implemented documented procedures to monitor all aspects of its business processes, from development of new products to servicing of deployed networks. Through collection of key quality metrics and data, the company is constantly refining its products and operations to continually improve the design, production, deployment, and on-going support activities. |
