iCore IMS

IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is a 3GPP standard for delivery of multimedia services and applications on a unified IP architecture, open to multiple wireless and wireline access technologies. Tecore's technology vision has always included multi-technology support on an IP architecture, first proven around the globe in 2G deployments, and continuing with 3G and 4G implementations. Compliance with IMS is therefore evolutionary and not revolutionary, requiring incremental development on a time-tested foundation. Existing network elements are adapted to be IMS-compliant while maintaining legacy functionality to ensure support for the large installed base of subscribers on 2G-3G protocols.
