The iCore Home Location Register/Home Subscriber Service (HLR/HSS) provides a comprehensive subscriber management solution across current and next generation wireless technology. Leveraging the patented multi-technology support of the iCore Platform, the iCore HLR/HSS supports subscribers from GSM, CDMA, and SIP based networks from a single common platform.

As networks evolve from the current generation of TDM based technology to next generation IP services, a common repository for the subscriber profile is the key element to convergence and support across traditionally disparate network technologies. The iCore HLR bridges the gap. The multi-technology profile structure allows users and devices to move seamlessly from one technology base to another leveraging a single common feature set. Whether bridging a fixed mobile convergence (FMC) network architecture between SIP and GSM or a dual technology overlay, the iCore HLR/HSS has the flexibility to accommodate the configuration.

Protocol Interworking

The key to multi-technology support is the ability to communicate the proper protocol to the proper network from a single profile. The multi-technology core of the iCore HLR/HSS incorporates the patented processing available across all Tecore products allowing the normalization of the protocol for internal communications while maintaining the necessary compliance for external connectivity. Deployment Options

Integrated

The integrated iCore HLR/HSS provides an integrated software solution which is incorporated with the iCore Platform. Supporting the same interfaces, protocols, and subscriber profile capabilities, the integrated iCore HLR/HSS provides a cost–effective option for capacities under fifty thousand subscribers.

Standalone

The Standalone version of the iCore HLR/HSS is implemented on scalable redundant Intel server architecture. Using the flexibility of the iCore software the standalone HLR configuration supports starting capacities from as few as fifty thousand subscribers with scalability upwards into the millions.
