A proven leader with more than 30 years’ experience in the military communications and telecommunications industry, Portell will lead Tecore’s growth through capture of major new business opportunities with commercial operators, government entities including state, local and military organizations, and all customers seeking to upgrade their networks to 3G and 4G LTE.
Mr. Portell spent over 30 years combined in the US Army, Westinghouse and Nortel Networks before joining Tecore Networks. As Chief Operating Officer, he is focused on the strategic business plan for propelling the company to the next level with his vast experience in driving sales, structuring alliances and bringing world-class products to market. “I am delighted to welcome Bruce to this critical role to help Tecore capitalize on the growth opportunities in front of us,” said Jay Salkini, President and Chief Executive Officer, Tecore Networks. “Bruce’s knowledge of Tecore goes back to the very founding of the company, and his career since then has positioned him well to take this company to new heights.”
