Mobile World Congress 2010 - Stand 8C78
Tecore is proud to showcase its iCore all-IP software-defined core network - capable of supporting 2G GSM and CDMA, 3G UMTS and 4G LTE on a range of scalable hardware platforms - at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Hall 8, Stand 8C78 from February 15 to 18. With iCore, mobile operators will have the flexibility of running multiple standards on a single network, allowing them to maximize revenues from legacy services while rolling out next-generation applications. iCore is compliant with the 3GPP and 3GPP2 standards, and optionally provides a Radio Network Controller (RNC), enabling operators to use this platform with other vendors' radio access network equipment. iCoreĀ®: 3G UMSC, HSS and RNC
4G LTE Evolved Packet CoreThe iCore allows operators to leverage the benefit of IP connectivity in their network, preparing the infrastructure for future LTE evolution. The network components required to upgrade iCore to become an LTE Evolved Packet Core (EPC) are software modules, allowing the transition of the network to 4G without forklift upgrades.
The Mobility Management Entity (MME) and System Architecture Evolution (SAE) Gateway components added to the iCore platform provide the interface and functionality support for LTE access. iCore IMS components facilitate applications across the network infrastructure. The iCore EPC includes compliant interfaces for connectivity with standard eNodeBs and interoperability with other vendors' core network equipment as defined in Release 8 of the specifications, enabling operators to use Tier-1 4G eNodeBs. Tecore is currently conducting interoperability testing with eNodeB vendors. Interested vendors should contact Tecore. Rapid Deployment System - Complete Network Operations in Minutes
Key benefits:
iNAC Managed Access - The Superior Alternative to Jamming
The Intelligent Network Access Controller (iNAC) addresses government and large enterprise needs to restrict commercial mobile access in secured zones, without preventing authorized and emergency communications. iNAC has been demonstrated as a preferred method to control contraband cell phones in prisons, where millions of illegal calls are being made from behind bars.
